FASHION COMMITTEE

•  The committee works to raise awareness about the dire impact of the fashion industry in its current form and the effects of our consumption culture. They are responsible for managing ESH’s fashion programs and associated events together with the Fashion Committee, called Rethink Apparel. Together, the committee supervises and ensures that Rethink Apparel's online channels are effectively managed. Additionally, the team will work alongside other committees within the hub, taking care of the well-being of the (active) members of the ESH and the community as a whole. 

 

Responsibilities include;

• Raising awareness about the dire impact of the fashion industry in its current form and the effects of our consumption culture

• Organizing monthly clothing swaps

• Organizing seminars on sustainable fashion

• Organizing sewing & DIY workshops
